Think you make a mean gumbo? You can create an etouffe that'll bring tears to the eyes? Well, here's your opportunity to strut your Cajun stuff.

In keeping with the “Mardi Gras” theme of Homecoming 2000, the Office of Student Activities is hosting a Cajun Cook-Off, Wednesday, October 11 from 11 to 5, and students and faculty are encouraged to join in by bringing a dish.

Judges will sample the dishes and award prizes to those with the most authentic and most original dish. Then all the goodies will be served to those in attendance.

One prerequisite: To participate in the cook-off, you'll need to fill out an application. To get one, call 7431 or stop by Miller Hall, Room 101.
