FTE up as of second day of classes

Austin Peay's FTE (full-time enrollment) is up by 3.50 percent, according to a report released Aug. 23 by the Office of the Registrar.
Undergrad enrollment on main campus rose 3.70 percent, with the largest increases in freshman (7.53) and sophomore (7.48 percent) students. Senior enrollment was down just short of 1 percent.
Graduate enrollment fell by 8.81 percent.
Though Fall II at the Austin Peay Center @ Fort Campbell still must be factored into the equation, the preliminary news is good: FTE at the Center was up by 3.69 percent for Fall I. Fall II begins Oct. 9.
The University's total enrollment to date is 6,169, with FTE at 5,318.
Final enrollment will be determined Sept. 4.
