Dr. Sherry Hoppe to be honored at Women in Higher Ed conference

Dr. Sherry Hoppe will join the president of Dyersburg State Community College and the president of Columbia State Community College as honorees of a reception to recognize new college and university presidents in Tennessee.
The event, hosted by Women in Higher Education in Tennessee, will be held at 6 p.m, Oct. 4. in Nashville's Frist Center for the Visual Arts. Topics to be addressed at the conference include networking, the role of mentoring, leadership opportunities for women in higher education, the components of leadership, and the Athena model for development women leaders.
