Gallery: President George H. W. Bush’s 1992 visit to APSU

On Sept. 29, 1992, during the final months of that year’s presidential campaign season, President George H. W. Bush visited Austin Peay State University. During his speech inside the Dunn Center, he proposed a series of debates with Arkansas Gov. Bill Clinton. Clinton went on to win the election that November. Bush passed away on Nov. 30, 2018.
