Conversational Spanish part of Extended Ed's October offerings

Conversational Spanish for Beginners” teaches the fundamentals of verbal communication in Spanish with emphasis on the spoken language in practical situations and settings. The class meets 7-9 p.m., Mondays, Oct. 21-Nov. 25, at 106 Public Square. The course fee is $81, and the textbook costs $12.

Microsoft Excel Basics” teaches students how to create spreadsheets, enter data, navigate in a worksheet and use formulas and functions. Classes meet 6-8 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, Oct. 22-Nov. 5, at 106 Public Square, Clarksville. The course fee is $81, the textbook costs $26, and the lab fee is $5.

“Parents, Children and Divorce—Montgomery and Dickson Counties” is the state-mandated course divorcing parents with minor children are required to take before the divorce is granted. The father and mother do not attend class at the same time, and children are not permitted to attend. Classes will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, in Clement 132. The class for Dickson County will be from 9 a.m. -1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26, at the Renaissance Center, Room 220. The course and textbook fee is $30.

“MOUS Intermediate MS Word 2000” teaches students the basics of Microsoft Word as well as how to create and modify tables, insert pictures, clip art and logos. The class meets 6-9 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays, Oct. 30-Nov. 13, at 106 Public Square. The course fee is $121, the textbook fee is $42, and the lab fee is $5.
