Child Learning Center to open new classroom for part-timers
October 29, 2001
Beginning Jan. 7, 2002, the CLC will provide part-time care for children. The new program is designed to meet the differing and growing needs of APSU student-parents who attend classes only in the morning and, therefore, do not want to pay for full-day care.
The hours of the Part-Day Child Care Program will be 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Child Learning Center, 637 North Eighth Street. The cost is $50 per week per child with a $30 yearly registration fee.
According to Blanche Wilson, director of the CLC, enrollment will be limited to15 children, age 2-4 years, with APSU student-parents receiving priority enrollment for their children.
For more information or to register your child for the part-day child care, telephone Wilson at 6234.
