APSU student government offers safe trick-or-treating

October 29, 2002

Tired of roaming your old haunts? Austin Peay invites witches, goblins and ghosts of all ages to join them in their alternative trick-or-treating festival.

Great Halloween Options for Safe Trick-or-Treating (G.H.O.S.T.) offers a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, on the Morgan University Center plaza facing the library.

APSU student organizations will decorate tables, pass out candy, play games and tour trick-or-treaters through haunted houses. A $50 prize will be awarded to the best- decorated table.

G.H.O.S.T. is sponsored by Austin Peay's Student Government Association (SGA). It is free and open to the public. For more information, telephone 7262.
