APSU senior highlights interactive photographs in new exhibit

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – This week, Austin Peay State University graduating senior Heather Kennedy will present her Senior Thesis exhibition, United. This interactive display of photographs will be featured in a dynamic exhibition in APSU’s Gallery 108 located on the first floor of the Trahern Building. Kennedy’s exhibition is the third in the series of seven exhibitions by graduating Arts Majors this Fall.

This exhibition is the culmination of Kennedy’s Senior Thesis and involves an interactive display of photography detailing what unites and brings us together as people.

“United is about what brings us together as people all living and sharing this world together in a time when so many differences tear us apart,” Kennedy said. “There will always be something that ties us together, and that is what unites us. I wanted to be intentional about making this show interactive to be relative to the theme. It’s going to be a fun show and I’m looking forward to seeing how people react to it.”

This exhibition will be on view from Monday through Thursday of this week with a closing reception at 5 p.m. on Nov. 10. Gallery 108 is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Prof Collins at 221-7790 or
