Austin Peay State University was introduced as a new member of the Robertson County Chamber of Commerce at a monthly breakfast meeting, Good Morning Robertson County, on Oct. 20.
Representing APSU were Carol Clark, director of community and business relations; Feleesha Johnson, director of the Tennessee Small Business Development Center; Julia McGee, director of Extended Education; and Dana Willett, executive director of the Center for Extended and Distance Education.
This fall, APSU began offering courses at the new Highland Crest Campus in Springfield. APSU is making it possible for students to complete a degree in professional studies and criminal justice/homeland security.
McGee said APSU is pleased to partner with the city, county and Volunteer State Community College – which also shares space in the new Highland Crest facility – to bring higher education to Springfield.
