APSU employees share recent professional developments, activities

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Faculty and staff members at Austin Peay State University recently announced achievements as part of their professional and scholarly activities.

Dr. Larry Hoehn, emeritus professor of mathematics, had his article, “A 5-Circle Incidence Theorem,” published in the February issue of MATHEMATICS MAGAZINE, which is one of the primary journals of the Mathematical Association of America. One of the geometric figures in the article was selected to appear on the cover of the journal. The figure is essentially the same one that appeared on the mathematics T-shirts given to outstanding students during the mathematics contests at APSU in 2005.
