African American Cultural Center to honor fall graduates

The African American Cultural Center at Austin Peay State University will honor Fall 2011 African-American graduates during a recognition ceremony Thursday, Dec. 15. 

The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m. in the Clement Auditorium on APSU’s main campus.  A reception for the graduates and their families will immediately follow the program in the African American Cultural Center located in Clement, Room 120.

During the ceremony, APSU President Tim Hall will provide opening remarks as well as guest speaker Vincent Windrow, director of Intercultural and Diversity Affairs at Middle Tennessee State University.  Each student graduating will receive a customized kente stole.
