APSU student earns national scholarship
Austin Peay State University student Alexis Larkin was recently awarded a national scholarship by the Order of Omega for her leadership, academics and service to the campus and local community. Larkin is a member of APSU’s Order of Omega Chapter.
Order of Omega is a Greek honorary organization recognizing only the top 3 percent of juniors and seniors in a school’s fraternity and sorority community. The scholarship program was established to recognize academic achievements, participation and leadership in campus organizations, citizenship and service to Order of Omega and the campus community. The Scholarship is intended to support future academic endeavors.
Since 1985, Order of Omega has awarded more than $1 million in undergraduate scholarships. This year, the organization awarded 135 scholarships, totaling $61,250, to deserving individuals from 86 campuses within the United States and Canada.
