NOTE: Master of Music students are exempt from taking the GRE.

2. Step two: Schedule an audition. Students must schedule an audition with our departmental Graduate Coordinator, Dr. Ann Silverberg. An accompanist will be provided if applicants send the copies of audition music to Dr. Mary Alice Domenica (Staff Accompanist and Coordinator of Accompanying) at least two weeks prior to the audition. Dr. Domenica's contact information can be found here. Auditions are normally held on selected Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30 - 5:00 P.M. If there are extenuating circumstances, alternate audition arrangements may be made. Those who wish to be considered for an assistantship must audition by the last week of March.
3. Step three: Submit three letters of reference and your official undergraduate transcripts to the following address:

Graduate Assistantships
Graduate Assistantships are available for fall and spring semesters to students by competitive audition and include stipends of varying amounts and out-of-state tuition fee waivers. (Note: The audition must take place by the last week of March in order to be considered for a graduate assistantship).
