RICHARD FREY

Band Director/Assistant Director of BandsRichard
Frey received a Master of Music in Wind Conducting from the
Indiana University Jacobs School of Music where he studied with
Stephen Pratt. While at Indiana, he served as an Associate
Instructor and worked with the Marching Hundred, undergraduate
conducting classes, conducted the All-Campus Band and guest
conducted each of the major wind ensembles.
Prior to his time at Indiana University, Mr. Frey taught in the
public schools of Salem, OR where his concert ensembles received
praise from conductors such as Bill Wakefield, Gary Greene, and
Rodney Winther. His undergraduate degree is from the University
of Puget Sound in Percussion Performance. In his free time his
enjoys being outdoors, golfing, and racquetball.
