and Times
- Earlier
Fair and deadlines
- Fair
setup 11-5:30 on Thursday, March
17.
- Fair
takedown on Saturday, March 19
- Awards ceremony 2 weeks after takedown, Saturday, April 2
2. SRC
- Meets
monthly (Sept. 17, Oct. 8, Nov. 5,
Dec. 10 are deadlines for receipt
of
paperwork), IRB continues
to work continuously.
- Jan 7 deadline for preapproval projects.
- Check
International Rules for other
changes
3. Middle
School Project Limitations
- The
goal of the fair is to allow all
grade 9-12 entries and the best of
grades 6-8
- Each
grade 6-8 school will be allowed
at least 3 entries per grade

Schools
submitting winning 1st, 2nd, 3rd or
HM category awards in the previous
fair will be allowed additional
entries.

The formula is (2
x Awards in grade in previous fair
+ 1) x 3 = allowed entries in
that grade for present fair
Maximum entries per grade per school will be
27

Schools
receiving additional entries for
2005 are Montgomery Central Middle
School, Martin Luther King Magnet,
Bridgeforth , New Providence and
Rossview.
- Montgomery Central Middle - 15
entries in 6th, 3 in 7th, 9 in 8th
MLK - 3 in 6th, 21 entries in 7th,
27 in 8th
Bridgeforth - 9 entries in 6th, 3 in
7th, 3 in 8th
New Providence - 3 entries in 6th, 9
in 7th, 3 in 8th
Rossview - 9 entries in 6th, 3 in
7th, 3 in 8th

Middle
Schools will have to validate their
entries with the signature of a
certifying official. This can be the
school science fair coordinator or
an administrator. Middle Schools are
encouraged to have qualifying school
fairs to determine their entries.
