Jasmin Linares, U.S. Army Veteran

Coordinator

    

      Jasmin Linares is the Coordinator for the Military Student Center at Austin Peay State University. She is an Army Veteran who served between 1996 and 2013, as an active duty and reserve soldier. She completed her Bachelor of Science in General Business from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Science from Austin Peay State University. She started working for Austin Peay in 2007 as a Veteran Affairs Technical Clerk and then as a VA Counselor in 2012. In November of 2013 she assumed the duties of the Military Student Center Coordinator. She also serves as a member of the Military Education Task Force for Austin Peay State University. Her personal interests include traveling, watching movies, and spending time with her daughter and cats.     


 

Charles Hodgson, U.S. Army Veteran

Graduate Assistant

    

     Charles “C.T.” Hodgson is the Graduate Assistant for the Military Student Center at Austin Peay State University. He is an Army veteran who served from 1999-2006 and is serving, 2013- present, as an activity duty and National Guard soldier. He has earned an Associate of Arts from Volunteer State Community College and a Bachelor of Science from Austin Peay State University.  Charles is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts in U.S. Military History at Austin Peay State University. His personal interests include reading, playing and watching sports, and spending time with his wife and kids. 


 

Don Koenes, U.S.M.C. Veteran

VA Work Study

     Donald V. Koenes is a Veterans Administration Work Study at the Military Student Center. He is a retired USMC Veteran who served between 1988 and 2008. He is a business major with a concentration in accounting. He has worked at the Military Student Center since August 2013. His interest include hiking, balloon twisting, and watching scary movies.


 

Jacob Stuve

VA Work Study

     Jacob Stuve is a Veterans Administration Work Study at the Military Student Center at Austin Peay State University. He is a business major with a concentration in Accounting and Minor in Economics. His father served twenty four years in the Army. His interests are video games, reading, and watching movies.


 

Mark Travis, U.S. Army Veteran

General Work Study

     Mark Travis is a student worker in the Military Student Center at Austin Peay State University.  Mark is a veteran of the U.S. Army, Military Police Corps.  He is a history major with a minor in German. His interests include studying military history.
