  • APSU Med Tech student wins national award
    January, 2001

    Once again, Austin Peay State University has received national recognition because of the excellence of its Medical Technology Program. 
    Tammie L. Harper, who is president of the Alpha Pi Chapter of Lambda Tau, the national medical technology honorary, was selected "Winner-First Runner Up" for the 2000 National Lambda Tau Student Scholarship Award. There are nearly 40 chapters in the national honorary.

  • Mayo awarded ASCLS grant
    July, 1999
    ASCLS Education and Research Fund, Inc. grant was awarded in July 1999 to Mary M. Mayo, Ph.D., M.T.(ASCP) for the proposal: "Clinical Laboratory Test Utilization in the Emergency Department of a Medium-sized Community Hospital: Development and Testing of a Model to Study and Improve Test Utilization and Cost Effectiveness in Clinical Decision Making".
