USE OF MICROBES IN THE CLASSROOM

Teacher Workshop Event - McCord 217

Drs. R.H. McCoy and K. Belcher (Biology Department)

The purpose of this workshop is the acquaint teachers with the use of microorganisms in the science classroom.

To be included in the workshop:
1) Techniques for use of microbes.
2) Methods for isolation, maintenance and storage of microorganisms. Also to include disinfectants and sterilization.
3) Applications of microbiology in health sciences, industry, home, and environment.
