CONSTRUCTION CHALLENGE

Competitive Event (two-membered teams) - McCord 103

Dr. N. Rayburn (Mathematics and Computer Sciences Department)

If you write a description of a three-dimensional object made from plastic blocks, can your partner build it from your description? One partner writes a description (without drawings). The other partner, who has not seen the object, then attempts to build the object from the written description. Students will compete in teams of two. Entries will be judged on the basis of how closely they match the original object. More than one team may enter per school.
