To stay on track for a timely graduation, it’s important you are
able to take calculus during your first semester as a physics or
mathematics major. If a review of your ACT scores and your
teachers’ letters of recommendation reveal you are not ready for
calculus, you will be required to take college algebra and/or
pre-calculus during the summer.College algebra will be
offered during the Summer I term and pre-calculus will coincide
with the MaPs Institute during the Summer II term. You will be
responsible for tuition and fees associated with the course(s)
you take. A limited number of scholarships will be awarded based
on financial need and academic achievement.
