Giving Clubs
     The Austin Peay Society
       (Cumulative Giving Clubs)

     The Austin Peay Society was created to honor the individuals, corporations and organizations who together represent the University's most generous and dedicated contributors. Their gifts have helped to create a high-quality university committed to excellence. Membership in the Austin Peay Society is obtained through the cumulative donation of $10,000 or more as of June 30, 1998.

(Included in the Patrons Society are contributors who have been members of the former Heritage Club program.)


Annual Giving Clubs

     The Annual Giving Clubs program honors the individuals, corporations and organizations who, through their annual gifts, provide ongoing support for the continual enhancement of programs in every area of University life.

     The President's Society recognizes gifts of $1,000 or more at four giving levels. These gifts enable the University to pursue a level of excellence not otherwise possible.

The John S. Ziegler Circle
$10,000 or more

     The Ziegler Circle, named for the founding president of Austin Peay, recognizes the visionary leaders who demonstrate their extraordinary level of commitment to the University through the contribution of $10,000 or more annually.

The Philander P. Claxton Circle
$5,000 - $9,999

     The Claxton Circle was created to honor Austin Peay's second president who led the University through its early years from 1930 to 1946 and to recognize the generosity of those who make annual contributions of $5,000 to $9,999.

The Halbert Harvill Circle
$2,500 - $4,999

     The Harvill Circle, named for one of Austin Peay's most beloved presidents who led the University from 1946 to 1962, recognizes the commitment of those donors who contribute between $2,500 and $4,999 annually.

The Joe Morgan Circle
$1,000 - $2,499

     The Morgan Circle was created to honor Austin Peay's fourth president who led the University from 1962 to 1976 and to recognize those contributors who make annual contributions of $1,000 to $2,499.
