The Professional Writing Minor  

This minor prepares students from various majors to enter the worlds of industry, business, and science with a strong foundation in writing. Courses taken for this minor may not be applied towards the English major.

Required course:
           ENGL 1100 ____ Technical writing (3 credit hours)

Electives: Students choose five courses (15 hours) from the courses listed below.

Students may also apply one course from another writing minor (i.e. ENGL 2200) to the professional writing minor.
