**ENGL 3420 is usually available in Fall & is always offered twice per year.

All other 3000-level or 4000-level English courses are offered more infrequently, depending upon instructor availability and programming needs.

At least two to four upper-division English literature electives will be offered every Fall and Spring.

Summers
Summer courses offerings for the major are extremely limited due to restricted funding and faculty availability. Typically, at least one required or one elective course for the English major is offered in summer.
