Description and Purpose:
The Geosciences Computer Lab is designed to run department-specific software, including GIS, digital image processing, geostatistical analysis, and hydrological modeling. Its purpose is to train students in the use of computers for spatial analysis and modeling (i.e., the depiction and simulation earth forms and processes). The lab provides the only access that Geosciences students have to specialized software necessary for spatial analysis and earth process modeling for Geosciences educational and training objectives. |
