300 - Lab Information

Description and Purpose:
Claxton 300
is for use by Austin Peay students, staff, and faculty only. The lab is to be used
for a classroom as well as an open lab. See the sign-up sheet outside the lab for class
schedules.

Hours for Fall 2006:
Please Note:
The lab is closed at different times each day due to classes
using the lab. Students will be asked to leave when a class uses
the lab. Do not begin any work on the computer that can not be
saved and resumed.
Reserved
class times are posted on the wall to left of main door of lab.
The lab in CX303 across the hall from CX300 is open for student
use and is not used for classes.

Lab Policy:
- Users must
sign in completely. Please print legibly and have a valid campus ID.
- Please keep quite and
do your own work.
- No food,
drinks, or tobacco products.
- No children
are allowed to use the equipment.
- No game
playing (including internet games) or IRC chat.
- Do not save
your work on the computer. Use your own diskettes.
- Do not load
(or download from internet), modify, or delete files from hard drives unless instructed by
a faculty member to do so.
- Do not save
new setting on computers stations including backgrounds and wallpapers on screens.
- Print only 1
copy of a finished document.
- Respect all
copyright laws.
