My Journey

At this point I am tempted to say "In the beginning"  but that  has been taken.  So I will introduce my grandmother.  By name she is Gladys Henry Herndon; to me she is "momma."  She helped deliver me into this world and frequently delivers me from it.  "Momma" remains my earliest inspiration to be a good person and ultimately a social worker.
