Officers and Elections

Explanation of Officer: Since it’s hard to plan when you first take office due to forms and funding, ISO elects officers the preceding semester. This means that we elect officers in the fall to take office in the spring. This way our officers have time to plan, fill out forms and learn what they need to do as a officer. Of course, you have to be an active member to run for a office and you can run for office as many semesters that you would like… keeping in mind that you will serve as officer-elect (training semester) then a semester in office. Obviously, if you are re-running you don’t need to train because you’d already be in office. So, if you want to be a officer in the future… I suggest that you get involved.

Spring 2009 officers are as follows:

President – Mary Vossler

V.P. – Mandeep Kaur

Secretary – Jamila El-Jabry

Treasurer – Callie Hedges
