Admission Decisions

The psychology department makes admission decisions for the fall semester from March 1 to July 31.

International Student Admission

The APSU College of Graduate Studies handles all international student admissions. You must submit the following items well in advance of the semester for which you are seeking admission:

• Applications and complete, certified copies of official transcripts, certificates, diplomas and degrees translated to English
• Proof of proficiency in the English language. A paper-based score of 500 or a computer-based score of 173 on the TOEFL Examination is required of applicants whose native language is not English.
• Evidence of financial resources sufficient to pay educational expenses.
• Documentation of an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

If you are transferring to APSU from a foreign institution, you must provide a copy of a course-by-course equivalency review performed by an educational credentials agency.
