Program Overview:
Through this program, you will take part in either an intensive Spanish language program and/or a history program in Rosario, Argentina. In your leisure time, you will experience Argentinean culture through day trips, afternoon activities and cultural events. Also, you will have opportunities to participate in optional excursions to Iguazu Fall, Patagonia, Buenos Aires etc. Basic knowledge of Spanish is not required.

Courses:
If you plan to take a Spanish course, you must sign up for Spanish 3040C; however, if you plan on taking the World History courses, Modern Latin America course (HIST 3470), or an history independent study (all are offered in English), you must register for those classes specifically. Beginners, intermediate and advanced Spanish courses are offered in this program, as well as Spanish/Latin American Literature and History courses. In addition, a history course(s) which will be taught by Dr. Gregory Hammond will satisfy the History Major-Minor requirements. All courses may be applied to the Latin American Studies minor.

Lodging and Meals:
You will reside with a host family during your stay in Rosario. Breakfast and dinner are included in the overall program cost.
Cost:
Level 3: (between $4k-$5k)
This covers APSU tuition, airfare and airport transfers, housing, health insurance for the duration of the trip, welcome and farewell lunches, two meals a day and activities.
