Academic Programs

The Upward Bound Program offers students the opportunity to participate in activities designed to broaden their perspectives. Additionally, the program acquaints participants with the University environment and provides them with a college-like experience. Activities may include dinner theaters, museums, Tennessee Performing Arts Center and the Parthenon.

• One Saturday a month academic sessions at Austin Peay State University
• Weekly meetings at each high school
• Advising and counseling sessions
• One-on-one and group tutoring sessions
• Cultural trips

   Summer Session                    

• Meet for six weeks during the summer 
• Academic & recreational classes Monday – Thursday
• 8:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Cultural trips on Fridays
• Lunch & transportation provided
