Mission Statement

Austin Peay State University’s Upward Bound, in collaboration with families, Montgomery County schools and Clarksville Montgomery County community, will increase high school students' opportunities to higher education. We accomplish this by providing college preparatory instruction, individualized services, cultural enrichment activities, training in leadership and mentoring, problem solving and critical thinking skills and community involvement that support higher academic achievement and entry into a post-secondary institution.
