Program) |

The BEST program is a benefit
program that allows employees to set money aside in a trust fund on behalf of
their children or grand children toward future college tuition expenses through
payroll deduction (after taxes). To participate in this program, the
employee should complete an enrollment form. Once the Treasury department
receives this form and approves, a trust fund account contract will be
established with the employee. The Treasury department will then notify
the University regarding the enrollment information at which time the payroll
deduction will be set up. The effective date for this program will be May 1,
1997. |
