Apply for Housing

Instructions on How to Apply for Housing:

• Log onto One Stop
• If you are a freshmen, the “Apply for Housing” link is on the left hand side of the screen
• If you are a sophomore or above, go to the Life tab and see the “Apply for Housing” link on the right hand side of the screen
• Fill out the Application for the Academic School year and make your $200 prepayment. Please allow two business days for that payment to be reflected on your account.
• Once the application and prepayment are made, check your AP Email account for when you are eligible to book your bed space.
• To book your bed space, log onto OneStop.
• Find the Apply for Housing link
• View the Room/Meal Assignment key
• Choose a Room & Meal
• “Continue” on the bottom right hand side of the screen
• Begin Room/Meal Selection
• Select building/gender/room type and floor and then go to View Available Rooms
• Choose the room you wish to book
• "Choose this room"
• Choose which bedspace you want and go to continue
• "continue" again
• Choose meal plan and "continue"
• Review and "continue"
• "finished" and log out
• You will receive email confirmation of your bed/meal plan choices and your assignment is completed.

Apply for on-campus housing

Your application is considered “complete” once you have:

• Filled in all information requested on the application and supplied any necessary support documents to the Housing Office.
• Reviewed and acknowledged the Housing contract which appears on the Housing Application Summary page after you choose “continue.”
• Submitted your $200 prepayment. You can pay online by accessing the following link:

  You may also pay in person at the Business Office in APSU’s Browning Building or send a check made payable to APSU to:

Please write your name and student ID number on the check. Your student ID number begins with the letter “A” and is followed by eight digits.

For Emerald Hill Apartments please note the following:

You must be 21 or older ~ or;

A Graduate student ~ or;

Have children and/or a spouse

You must make a $100 prepayment to start the application process.
