Faculty Wireless-Mac Computers

Instructions to connect to APSU wireless for Faculty and Staff from a Macintosh.

1. In the menu bar, select Airport and pull down to Join Other Network.
2. Enter the name of the network as listed below and select WPA2 Enterprise from the pull down menu.
   Network Name: APFacStaff
   Security: WPA2 Enterprise
   
3. After you select WPA2Enterprise from the pull down menu you will be asked to enter your username and password. Enter your APSU Outlook username and password. If your A number is your password DO NOT forget to capitalize the A.
   
4. It should be defaulted to 802.1x and Automatic. Do not change these settings.
   1. Make sure you check the box to the right of Remember this network (It will save your username and password).
   2. Select join.
   3. You should see a message: Connecting to Network.
   4. Once you are connected the box disappears.
   5. You can open up Safari or Firefox and the webpage will appear.
5. You can check your connection by clicking on Airport and under the pull down menu APFacStaff should be checked.
   

If you use this mainly on campus you should stay connected, but if you are on and off campus with several different wireless setups, you may have to reconnect to the network when you return.
