The Help Desk provides the first point of contact to the University for computing, networking, hardware/software, PC, Macintosh and printer problems. The Help Desk staff assists University students, faculty, and staff with computing and networking problems; works with other technical groups and the Office of Information Technology to resolve more complex problems; develops documentation; issues computer accounts; as well as prepares and distributes informational and promotional materials.
Need to Know - In order to help simplify student account management, the same on-campus login is used for lab/library computers, wifi access, D2L, OneStop and the LiveMail. The initial password for the new accounts will be the student ID or A#. The password is case-sensitive and requires capitalization of the beginning A.
