BHS ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Meningitis shots are now available at BHS
during regular hours. The cost is $100. Click on our

form for more information about meningitis.
The facts about MRSA (staphylococcus aureus) or
staph infections:

It is a germ that is carried by everyone on
their skin or in their nose.

If it gets into an open cut or wound it can
cause infection that may appear like a pimple or boil and could
be mistaken for a spider/insect bite.

It may be resistant to many antibiotics and is
spread by skin to skin contact through openings in the skin,
contaminated items and surfaces, crowded living conditions and
poor hygiene.
To help stop the spread of MRSA and other germs,
you must:

WASH YOUR HANDS!!!! often with soap and water or
alcohol based hand wipes or gel sanitizers

Stay away from sick people or from others if you
are sick

Cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing and
cover your cuts and abrasions.

Bleach to disinfect counters, sinks, tubs, knobs
etc.

Don't share personal items like towels and
washclothes
-
WASH YOUR HANDS!!!!
