Welcome to APSU and the HCC family!

Thanks for your interest in the Hispanic Cultural Center (HCC). There are many ways to be involved with the Hispanic Cultural Center.  You are invited to participate in the center’s many programs such as cultural events, a monthly speaker series called Not all about Tacos, a peer mentoring program, and weekly Spanish conversation labs. 

The peer mentoring program is a great way to meet active student leaders. As a first year student, you will be paired with an upperclassmen who will be there to provide guidance and encouragement.  One of the benefits of the program is that you become more connected to the campus and the opportunities APSU has to offer.  To enroll in the peer mentoring program, fill out the attached form. 

The HCC is also a great place to access books and films on Hispanic cultures, to relax, to access email or complete assignments at student computer stations, and to meet other students.

Gracias por tu interés en el Hispanic Cultural Center (HCC). Hay varias maneras que se puede formar parte del HCC. Te invitamos a participar en los varios programas que ofrecemos, como los eventos culturales. 

El programa de mentores es una buena manera que tu esudiante puede conocer otros estudiantes que ya son líderes activos en el campus de APSU. Como un estudiante de primer año, te adjuntaremos con un estudiante experimentado quien puede dar consejos y apoyo. Uno de los beneficios del programa es que puede conectarte más con la universidad y las oportunidades que APSU te ofrece.

También, el HCC es un buen lugar encontrar libros y filmes sobre la cultura hispana, conocer otros estudiantes, relajarte, y acceder tu correo electrónico o  terminar tus asignaturas en las estaciones de computadoras de los estudiantes.
