The Austin Peay State University Hispanic Alumni Chapter
Are you on the verge of graduating or have you already graduated? Don’t worry your connection with Austin Peay and the Hispanic Cultural Center does not have to end here! Get involved with the Austin Peay State University Hispanic Alumni Chapter. The Hispanic Alumni Chapter is made of Austin Peay Hispanic graduates who live all over the country, regardless of where you find yourself after graduation, you can be involved! Involved in what? The Hispanic Alumni Chapter strives to promote academic excellence among Hispanic students at the University, to provide financial support in the form of scholarships to qualified students and to encourage fellowship among alumni. Hispanic Cultural Center Alumni: Where Are They Now?
Since the opening of the Hispanic Cultural Center in 2005, many students have walked in as strangers and left as family, but where are our family members now? Well here is an update on a one of our lost family members now:

Jonell received her BS in History with a minor in Religious Studies in She was a member of the Latino Student Association and the Student Advisory Board. Where is she now? Mrs. J, also known as Mama J, currently works as the Admin for Student Life and Engaement at APSU. She is currently working on her Master's in Professional Studies with a concentration in Strategic Leadership. In October 2012, Jonell became the proud grandmother of Catherine Blair!
