Canned Food Drive

To Support the Save Our Students (S.O.S.) Food Pantry

Hosted by the Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council

January 30th – February 2nd

Items can be donated in the University Center Lobby

The Interfraternity Council and the Panhellenic Council  of Austin Peay State University will be hosting a Canned Food  Drive to support  the Universities very own Save Our Students (S.O.S.) Food Pantry.

In the spirit of competition, the Interfraternity Council has partnered with the Panhellenic Council to invite and encourage all student organizations to participate. There will be two divisions to the event, the “Student Organization Division” and the “All Greek Division.” The student organizations with the most nonperishable food items in their divisions will receive a certificate, as well as a monetary donation to the philanthropy of their choice to commemorate their victories.

All cans and nonperishable food items will need to be turned in at the “Canned Food Drive” table located in the Morgan University Center from 11am-1pm, January 30th-February 2nd. All cans and nonperishable food items that are donated will be labeled with your organization’s name and a tally will be created at the end of each day announcing each organization’s rank. A copy of this count will also be located at the drop-off table located in the MUC.
