Financial Aid - Authorization
Federal
regulations require authorization from the student to use
Title IV funds to pay prior term charges within the same
academic year, and current non-educational charges.
You can complete the authorization form online through AP
self-service or paper format.

Authorization Form (Paper format must be completed and
returned to the Office of Student Financial Aid & Veterans
Affairs.)
Please note: Your tuition and fees are not paid, only deferred until your financial aid
funds arrive and are credited to your account. It is your responsibility to follow up and
ensure your account is paid in full before the end of the term.
Important Reminders:
- In order to receive fedearl financial aid of any type all requested documents
must be turned in to the Office of Student Financial Aid & Veterans Affairs.
- If this is your first loan:
- The master promissory note (MPN) may be completed electronically via
www.studentloans.gov.
- An Entrance interview is requred and will need to be completed on the web at
www.dl.ed.gov/borrower/EntrCounselingStart.do?cmd=initializeContest.
- If you stop attending class or decide to withdraw from school, you may still
owe the university and/or have to repay part or all of any federal financial aid received.
- Make sure your address and phone number is current with the university. This can be updated using
AP OneStop.
