Students with Academic Scholarships must . . .

Report to your assigned department the
first day of fall and spring terms and fulfill your
service requirement. An unsatisfactory work evaluation
will result in cancellation of the scholarship(s) and
possible reimbursement to the university.

Complete 75 service hours each semester.
If you do not complete these hours, you may be billed a
pro-rata share of the scholarship(s) and your
scholarship(s) may be canceled for the future.

Maintain a grade point average as
indicated below:

Enroll and maintain full-time status
(Min. 12 hours per semester)
Failure to meet the above requirements will result in the
loss of your scholarship(s).
Other helpful information:
Normally a student is not able to appeal the loss of one of
the above scholarships until after one semester/term. If
extenuating circumstances exists, an appeal may be submitted
to the Office of Student Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs
before the lapse of one semester/term.
With
all renewal requirements met, the scholarship(s) will be
renewed annually as indicated below:

The work placement will be
in effect throughout the duration of your scholarship(s).
You may request transfer to another department at the end of
the term if you are unhappy in the current placement.
Requests are made to the scholarship coordinator in the
Office of Student Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs.
Efforts will be made to allow transfer to the requested
department; however, you may be assigned to any department
needing assistance.
