How would you like to take a college course without leaving your
favorite chair? With Austin Peay's videotaped courses you
can!
Some courses require the student
rent copies of the course tapeset. Videotapesets for some courses are provided to the student at no
cost. Students should contact the distance
education office or their instructor about obtaining their tapes, or
see the information below.
When the tapes are available at no cost,
they are available for check-out at the reserve desk
in the Woodward Library. Additionally, your instructor may schedule on-campus
meeting during the term. Ask if you will be meeting during
the term, and when.
When possible during the term, videotape playback will be
scheduled for play on the campus distance education cable channel, your instructor will
advise you of air times.
Textbooks are available through the APSU
bookstore. Students are responsible for obtaining their
textbooks, they may be purchased at the bookstore or you may order
them by phone by calling 1-800-648-7655. The books can be
charged to a Visa or MasterCard, shipping is extra.
Any
additional course materials will be sent to students
electronically, or by surface if they are unable to come to
campus to purchase or collect these materials.
