Some tips for creating slides
- Always maintain the border around slides
- Limit lines to 6-8 per slide and 5-7 words per line
(Use the rule of 6 – no more than 6 lines per slide and 6 words per line)
- Stay with bullets and phrases
- Avoid putting too much information on one slide
- Use handouts for detailed information
- Use horizontal or landscape orientations
- Avoid red colors and busy backgrounds
- Use darker backgrounds and lighter letters
-Yellow on blue is clear and readable
- Keep color scheme consistent
-Slide layout and design
- Use Sans Serif fonts, fonts such as Arial are best for broadcast use
-Use bold text
- Use at least 36 point fonts
- Keep fonts consistent
- Always check new visuals
