Dual Enrollment
College Credit for High School Students
Austin Peay State University offers high
school juniors and seniors (completed sophomore year) an opportunity to
enroll in college courses and be awarded either college credit or both
high school and college credit in several different subjects.
To apply for dual enrollment courses,
students must:

Have earned a high school GPA of 3.2
on 4.0 scale

Submit a minimum ACT Composite Score of 22 or SAT score of 1090,
with ACT subscore of at least 19 (SAT 460) in math and English.

Be recommended by their high school
principal or guidance counselor

Have parental endorsement.

Complete an
application for early admission
and an online
application for admission; you must also submit an updated high school transcript
each semester. Be sure to select the dual/joint enrollment
application option when completing online forms.
Students are
eligible for the dual lottery scholarship, which provides $100 per
semester credit, up to $300 per term and $600 per academic year.
