2013 Tennessee Business Tax Seminar and Workshop

Sponsored by the Tennessee Department of Revenue and Austin Peay State University, this annual one-day event is designed to give accounting professionals up to 8 hours of continuing professional education in the field.  Continuing education is approved for accountants, CPAs and enrolled agents. 

Representatives from the TN DOR, the TN Dept. of Labor and Workforce Development and the TN Dept. of the Treasury will join to provide updated information on business taxes, sales and use tax, individual income, inheritance and gift tax, unemployment tax, tangible personal property tax, electronic filing and online services.  Legal staff will update on legislative amendments to the tax laws and recent court cases affecting tax administration.  There will also be plenty of time for questions and for networking with other professionals.
