Multimedia objects such as video lectures, podcasts, blogs, or wikis can be used to increase learning and enhance engagement for students in online courses. Faculty are encouraged to attend training found on the Training Calendar for novice as well as advanced training in multimedia creation.
Technology training, pedagogy and best practices related to multimedia are provided to faculty through Distance Education. The Multimedia Specialist will provide individualized training or can be booked for departmental training sessions in the following:
