Information Technology Certification Training

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator

Industry-standard certification validates the technical skills used every day in the field of information technology.  To help you prepare for those examinations, the Center offers an intensive training program for persons preparing for CompTIA, Microsoft and Cisco certification examinations.

Once you complete the MCP certification program, expand your IT skills with Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) credentials if you want to implement, manage and maintain the typically complex computing environment of medium- to large-sized companies. Two additional courses are  required to prepare for the MCSA examinations.

All courses are taught two nights a week and each class lasts five weeks (45 hours of instruction.)  The estimated time to complete the full MCSE program is approximately 15 months.  All courses are taught in an especially designed teaching lab by a certified Microsoft instructor.  This program is taught in a cadre format with groups of students starting together and remaining together through the classes.  For that reason, a new group of students can begin the program about every eight months.  The program has been approved for WIA and Veterans Vocational Rehabilitation funding.
