  Microsoft Certified Professional Certification

The Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) credential is for IT professionals who can demonstrate the skills to implement a Microsoft product or technology as part of a business solution in an organization. The MCP program includes a 3-course CompTIA program to develop hands-on experience with the products before you begin the certification process and ready students for the CompTIA A+ Hardware and Software and CompTIA Network + examinations.  An additional class is provided to prepare for the MS Windows XP Professional (70-270) examination. These courses prepare candidates to earn the MCP certification by successfully passing the CompTIA and Microsoft exams.

All courses are taught two nights a week and each class lasts five weeks (45 hours of instruction.)  The estimated time to complete the full MCSE program is approximately 15 months.  All courses are taught in an especially designed teaching lab by a certified Microsoft instructor.  This program is taught in a cadre format with groups of students starting together and remaining together through the classes.  For that reason, a new group of students can begin the program about every eight months.  The program has been approved for WIA and Veterans Vocational Rehabilitation funding.
