The Center is pleased to offer Cisco CCNA certification preparation classes, taught by a certified instructor and developed to further expand the technical skills of our MCSE students. The program consists of four 5-week courses that prepare students to take the CCNA examination.
The Cisco® CCNA network associate certification validates the ability to install, configure, operate, and troubleshoot medium-size routed and switched networks, including implementation and verification of connections to remote sites in a WAN. This new curriculum includes basic mitigation of security threats, introduction to wireless networking concepts and terminology, and performance-based skills. Call the Center at (931) 221-7816 for details.
All courses are taught two nights a week and each class lasts five weeks (45 hours of instruction.) The estimated time to complete the full MCSE program is approximately 15 months. All courses are taught in an especially designed teaching lab by a certified Microsoft instructor. This program is taught in a cadre format with groups of students starting together and remaining together through the classes. For that reason, a new group of students can begin the program about every eight months. The program has been approved for WIA and Veterans Vocational Rehabilitation funding.
