Financial Sufficiency
Evidence of financial resources sufficient to pay expenses while an international student is studying at the University must be filed. Documentation must be in English. All funds are to be reported in equivalent US$.
International students are required to certify that they will have US $11,000 for 9 months or $14,000 for 12 months (costs subject to change) available to cover their living expenses at Austin Peay State University.
If a student is married and plans to bring spouse and children, a proportionally larger amount must be certified ($3,000 per academic year for the spouse, and $1,500 for each child.)
Fees are subject to change.
International students are also likely to need this financial statement to prove to the United States Counsel that the student has sufficient funds. Therefore, make copies of all financial documents and retain them for this purpose.
